Last week I went visiting my daughter up north, in Umeå. But I also took the chance to visit the 412 year old market in Jokkmokk – a meeting place for Sami people from Norway, Sweden and Finland, as well as people from all over the world. A colourful experience! More about this old market in posts coming.
I think I fell in love again…Finnish Lapphund is a dog breed, and traditionally it has been used for herding reindeer. This is a hardy, easy going, medium-size breed of Spitz type. At the market there were two shining beauties exposing themselves on reindeer skins.

Wow, I’m in love, too!

Haha – I saw him first;-D
Gorgeous. Maybe they shed a lot of hair, though. 😉
I can imagine they do…Lagottos don’t!
Will this be your new dog in the very near future? Beautiful dogs they are. 🙂
Thank you, they are beautiful indeed…but no, I hope to buy another Lagotto!
It seems that this beautiful dog has fallen in love with YOU, how could you not take him home with you???😉
Yes…How could I not…Those eyes are to drown in…
So adorable! 🙂
I just had to snuggle up and whisper in his ear how pretty he was…
Beautiful! He reminds me of my keeshound!
Yes, they are rather lookalikes!
Leya, such adorable dogs! Lovely photos.
Thank you – easy shots when the target is beautiful!

Funny they are! They remind bears. ))) Very lovely!
Bears? Maybe you are right…!
Their muzzles are like bear ones. Very cute!
