When in London, I try to visit a new part every time – and this time I walked along Regent’s Canal to Little Venice. They say Lord Byron coined the name, true or not, anyway it is a charming area with its moored boats and little ”gardens”.
How about joining me for a little walk?
I was in London three times but never strolled here. It’s lovely! Will keep it in mind.
Definetely worth a stroll – I had never been there before either.
Love the canal! Last time I was there I had a pastel de nata from the boat cafe. Not as good as the real thing but a happy memory 🙂 🙂
I have managed not to do this walk until now!
I have been staying just nearby for 4 nights .. I didn’t know there was a canal. Stayed at the Landmark Hotel. Only 20 min walk. Learn something new every day. Thanks!
Shame on you, Vivi! This stretch of canal is beautiful. You can walk up from Camden Lock 🙂 🙂
I didn’t know … but next time I visit Brighton … I will do the walk.
I love Camden Lock as well!
Maybe next time!
For sure!!!!
Me … never heard of, but now .. I have a reason to visit London for more than a show. Lovely .. post. Thanks for inviting me. *smile
😀
I have always intended to visit this area, still not succeeded!
Not too late!
Well, it might be if there’s too much walking from the nearest tube…which station did you use?
Warwick Avenue
OK, I’ll look at the map
