What delightful little visitors
Yes, love robins, but everyone is welcome! The last two, three winters have not brought many…hoping for a drier and warmer spring this year to make the breeding season for them successful.

Lovely little visitors you have!
I used to have so many visitors years ago, but the winters have turned so wet and rainy, and the spring when they should breed was too cold and wet two years in a row.
So they have done better this year!

Beautiful photos–I love the birds. We feed and water our birds and squirrels and chipmunks too, and the deer come at night and eat what is left.
Love to hear that. Deer come in here as well, even if we live in a small village.
They love to eat the pumpkins that we leave out after halloween or other harvest times. The chipmunks go inside them and eat the seeds, and the deer eat the rest of it.
Back to Nature – just as it should be!
They also love sweet potatoes uncooked. We do not have a compost bin since there are bears that I do not want to lure here–I want them to stay safe and away from people. I make sure the deer and birds and squirrels and chippies have a little something in the winter especially.
Wow – where are you in the world – bears?
Very near the famous hippie Woodstock NY in the US. It is in the Hudson Valley and there are towns, but there is also a reservoir that the wildlife stays near. I saw a big sturdy muscular bear right outside my window this summer, four feet away from me in broad daylight, just looking for food. SO MUSCULAR and healthy-looking, about hip-high or wasit-high on me as it walked on all four feet–
