I love that word – bejewelled. We don’t have it in Swedish. It takes a whole sentence. English is very much more versatile and has a lovely way of stretching itself…making other versions more easily.
Oh, that is fascinating to know. Yes, English is versatile and really rather forgiving. My daughter, though, who loves Latin, thinks English is not versatile but chaotic in comparison to Latin. 😀
