We all know the difference…but how to put it in words?

There is a difference between showing and telling. Every writer knows …and so do photographers. In order to tell a good story you need to practice showing too.

Can you tell me what I have shown you? Light – mornings or evenings?

Super images … I adore morning light, and the dew gives yours away! The poppies are so special
Thank you very much, Julie! Those poppies just shone in the morning…when the light is low and strong.
Such amazing captures!
Thank you, Teresa. Both lights are beautiful, but if there is dew…I prefer morning light!
❤️
You have captured the light beautifully
Glad you liked it – light is my passion.
And it shows
🙂
Lovely photos. I thought early morning too although I couldn’t have explained why.
♥
Love how you capture the sun light, AC. The first and second are incredibly beautiful!
Thank you, Amy – light is everything, isn’t it!
They’re all lovely but the first two are my favorites (and morning shots, I’m sure.)

Thank you, Janet – and yes, if you count the opener, they are!
Beautiful, especially the poppies! I see others have guessed before me so no need for me to try 😉
😀
Wonderful orchids but my favo shot is the second one.
Thank you – yes a favourite with me as well.
My thoughts exactly.. was going to write about the dew as well. Either way, all were fantastic.Clever shots again Leya.
Thank you so much!
The only one I could guess confidently was number 3 because of the dew. All are lovely.
Thank you, Susan – yes! 1 and 3 are mornings, and the header as well. Dew gave it away then!

Mornings?
1 and 3 are mornings, the others evenings. Hard to tell!
I got confused. I didn’t realise it was a mixed galley. ☺️
😊
That first image of the poppies is fantastic!!
Thank you, Sue! I went out to water that morning, and they were completely on fire in the morning sun!
Stunning!
