Isn’t it? The first time was when I saw blue chickory along a country road, and then abroad in Europe somewhere I met plumbago. Unforgettable. and such a joy to have it in my garden.
Thank you, Susan. I love that colour. We have only one more flower here with that swooning blue – cikoria, Cichorium. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicory
Lovely image of a lovely colored flower, Ann-Christine.

A gorgeous macro shot! I love the color.
i find this colour outstandingly beautiful too. Do you have any more flowers of that colour where you live?
I don’t very often see flowers with that particular shade of blue. They are really outstanding.
That’s beautiful!

So beautiful!
I do believe many of us love this colour – at least in flowers!
Oh yes! I love red! ❤️
What a beautiful color!
♥ It is – unbelievable.
It’s such a lovely blue colour.

Does it grow outdoors? I used to grow it in Cape Town, but I didn’t think it was hardy.
Outdoors in summer, then in my greenhouse for the winter.
Ah, that makes sense. I wonder if it could survive on my unheated conservatory over winter.
You could try – but I think they will not stand below freezing point.
It does not get to zero.
Ah, then maybe…
Worth a try if I ever get motivated to clean up the conservatory! It’s all got a bit away with me this year.
I think everything here got away with me the last 1 1/2 year.
Gosh – a beautiful flower, beautiful colour and a great shot!

Beautiful. I adore plumbago but I haven’t ever managed to grow it successfully.
Thank you – yes, that colour is outstanding. And, finally I can grow them now! You have to try again!
