An early, chilly and dewy morning, I met this little bee.

I visited every second minute until he was back doing his business. – Hey, thanks for keeping an eye on me!

Isn’t he lovely with his dusting of pollen … super shots 🙂
A wonderful series of photos
Thank you so much – happy to share a positive story too!
Oh, my, these are amazing, A-C, maybe the best of all your macros for me.
Happy you liked them so much, Janet!
Love this busy bee!
♥ I am glad he managed to go on with his work despite the wet and cold day.
Great pictures of this bee and flower, Ann-Christine! Love that yellow. I had a similar take for today’s Macro Monday. Great minds think alike. 😁
😀 Have to see it!
Excellent photos!
Glad you liked them, Aletta!
Stunning macro photos! I’m so pleased the bee thawed out and was able to carry on 🙂
Guess if I was too – and the bee of course!
The detail is fantastic and the colours are astounding. Amazing photo Leya 😀
Thank you so much, Pam. i loved it that he recovered.
You are an incredible photographer! I am in awe!
Well, that was a lovely comment, thank you! Loved it that he made it back to work again!
fabulous series. That’s the first time I’ve come across a bee frozen and then thawing out
Thank you. I have a friend who specialises in taking photos of frozen dragonflies!
I suppose it does happen when nights are cold enough. I’m just surprised that it happens often enough that the insects have evolved to being able to recover after a freeze.
Mmm. Up here north they do.
Awesome series!
Thank you, Anne – it was interesting to watch him come back to life !
Gorgeous image and the bee looks happy.
He was happy when the sun had dried him up!
I have never heard of a bee frozen and thawing out! Wow, he is beautiful! ❤❤❤
Thank you, Lisa. As the nights are cold and the days are still warm, they struggle on, the insects. Sometimes they are caught in a sudden shower.
🐝🧡💛
Fantastic
Love the bee settling
♥
That is lovely of you to make sure all was well. Wonderful photos Ann-Christine 😀😀
Thank you, Brian. I do whatever I can to save the world I Can save. That is what keeps me going. This little one wasn’t eaten this morning.
👍🤗
He certainly looked as though he had been there all night in that first shot! Lovely crisp photos.
Thank you, Jude – he had been there all night. Surprised by the swift shower and cold. I have a friend who specialized in photographing frozen dragonflies. I feel inspired!
