I had been waiting for this moment…

My granddaughter is to experience the same as I did as a child and as both my children did.

To follow the developing of a frog from start to finish. A Nature’s wonder – so clear to the eye. Last week we went to the pond to take some eggs home, and when the little frogs are fully fledged – with all four legs – we will return them to where they came from.
According to me, one of the best things to let a child experience. Patience and wonder.
I think you are absolutely right, AC!
Simply beautiful! A great lesson about the wonders of the world and the photos are outstanding, Ann-Christine. Love the details and the shades of blue.
Thank you so much, Yanaj!
❤️
That frog photo is excellent! And I agree, letting children watch frogspawn turn into tadpoles and then gradually into frogs is a magical experience for them and a great introduction to the wonders of nature!
True – and I still love it even if I am old!
Dear Ann-Christine
We just watched it as well and used it as a picture in our current blogpost

How exciting and what a great experience to share with your granddaughter!
Thank you, yes, I am so happy I finally got a grandchild to explore the world with, and remember my own childhood.
Tadpoles and their continuing story bring such wonder and joy to a small child – and to the inner child of all of us. Thanks fo this post, Ann-Christine.
Yes, beautifully told, Margaret. Our inner child will always love this once we have experienced it.
What a beautiful thing to teach a child!
♥ Valuable for the understanding of how we all are depending on each other – the wonders of life!
When I was a young person, I loved seeing the transformation of eggs to pollywogs to frogs. How wonderful that you are able to share it with your granddaughter!
I am so grateful! And before, when I was rather sure I would never be a grandmother, I think this was one of the things I would be missing the most – showing a new generation the wonders of our world.
Wonderful! xx
♥ Isn’t it!
patience, wonder, and prayer!

Exciting!
Yes – I love their sounds!

That is so cool! A wonderful way to introduce a child to Nature and spark their curiosity.
♥ I love it too – the funny thing is we have to hide them for her mother…she cannot stand tadpoles or frogs…
I’ve heard about people like that 🙂 Myself, I love tree frogs. They are so cute!
Then there are two of us loving those little ones!

What a fun and heart warming activity to share with your granddaughter.
Thank you – having grandchildren is great fun but also exhausting!
