I know some of you are having tough weather – and so have we. Winds from the east are always icy and for some weeks now the cold has crept into the very marrow of our bones. Our birds are having a tough time so much feeding is needed – fat and healthy seeds. Some will still not make it even through the night. They have to take even bigger risks now, eating when it is almost dark.

I will soon be on my way to warmer places though – too warm for me I believe, but hopefully there will be much to see and enjoy – and easier to forget the troubles of this world. We are neither getting younger, nor healthier, my husband and I, so we had better make this trip now and stop postponing it. As there will be little possibilities for wifi, I will take a break until I am back home at the end of the month.
I wish you all a smooth February, stay well, take care – and see you again soon!
Ann-Christine
It does look cold there – poor little birdies. Here’s to safe and warm travels…
These are wonderful images, and hopefully these birds aren’t too cold. It sounds like a really cold winter over there, Ann Christine. Here in Australia we have been having a very hot summer, quite the opposite. Hope you have a lovely trip away and enjoy every moment of it 🙂
How lovely to have a respite from the cold. Have a good break snd look forward to your return
Thank you, Ruth – I hope to share some ”hot” pictures…
Beautiful bird images Ann-Christine, its cold where I am too! Safe travels, excited to see what you capture on your journey!
So, where are you? I’d better check it out! Hope to return with some goodies!
Love the Feathered friends, and that wonderful forest scene! speak Sunday, and if not, safe travels!
❤️
This post makes the present gruesome weather look almost wonderful! Enjoy a wonderful break, and I hope the weather DOES come good for you. Our Spanish holiday to visit family found us with ‘orrible weather, so it was as well that we had good reason to be there!
Orrible? Rain we can see in the news, and flooding. Godd reason is always good! Take care and have a soft February!
😊
Happy travels, keep a hat one 😀
Thank you, I will bring two hats…
Have a fabulous trip, darlin! Enjoy every second xx
I will, thank you dear Jo!
Love that bird in the top left photo! …and we are with you on the ”travel while you can” approach. We never know what the future holds. And exploring where there is limited cell/wifi really helps us detach our brains from the crazy part of life. Enjoy!
Oh Lisa! Life is short…we try to make the most of it while we can – and so do you. I easily get depressed by what is happening in the world, so hopefully, as you say, this will be a positive break.
Love,
Ann-Christine
Yes on everything above! …my faith and prayers help me stay focused on what matters most. Blessings to you Ann-Christine! 😊🙏
And to you!
Enjoy your time away.
Thank you, I am grateful to be able to go!
Don’t think of the weather . . . just enjoy every hour and every day as it comes along . . . Shall be thinking of you, feeling a tad envious with a smile. . . ________________________________
🥰 I guess our temperatures might be just the same…Wishing you harmony and much fun – even if the tennis is over! I would have loved the olympic games this month, but they will have to be missed. Adventure is calling.
Much love,
Ann-Christine
Have just begun watching the first pre-races and races . . . I won’t get up at 5am but the free telecasts are on about 20 hours a day on three stations, so one can catch up! We have over 200 sports commentators and quite a few of our top TV crowd over there showing us everything on in Milano also . . . A-C > when one lives Down Under we do not miss much 🙂 !
😁😁😁
Beautiful.
Thank you, Brad!
Safe travels, Ann-Christine.
Thank you, Egidio. Take care and wish you a February in harmony.
