Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge: Birds
This week I thought I had nothing to enter – until I remembered the kite flyers of Fanö, and one of their funny inventions. Here we go – unfortunately there is no wind, but just use your inner eye and imagine the wind catching their bodies, making all the birds swing to and fro in a delightful dance.
Cee is a master of flower portraits, so I thought I would try a picture of my own Irises – all together instead. Why not join in the challenge? Or go to Cee for more flowers!

For Cee this week – a Bhutanese woman trekking up to the monastery, Tiger’s Nest, 3200 meters up. Thin air and tough, steep paths. But she was faster than most of us and had no difficulties whatsoever, it seemed. She offered me some nuts to keep up the pace. So sweet – they all were. I bet they all smiled to themselves seeing us westerners sweating and panting…
She was 76

For Cee – I just had to have my little boy again…Wet, tired and sleepy after an adventurous winter day. Can you hear his relaxed snoring?
I have posted this photo before, in colour, but in fact, I believe his character is more obvious in B&W.
I loved meeting this happy guy last summer – and he let me take a photo of him and his old military bike. So I guess it fits Cee’s ”bikes of any kind”.
For Cee’s double letters – mushrooms and trees.
