For WordPress this week – Shine.
These last few days I have been out hiking, because I wanted to enjoy the last rays of colour this autumn. Ahead of us – starting this week – is all greyness. Some trees have lost their leaves already, and among them, the beautiful maples.
Sometimes in the forest, there is a very special shine through the canopy, as if a soft magic wand was touching it. I felt that yesterday – I hope you can feel it too.
It’s all about nature...that could be my own motto as well as Cee’s challenge – Nature is my life and greatest interest. So…I had some difficulties in choosing photo. Finally I decided as follows. Japan inspired? Photographed yesterday, being the last day of colours here. Rain and wind today.
I have been thinking…but I have also been away the whole day. Maybe this was the last fine day of autumn colours – rain and wind coming our way…So, I went on a photo tour. I hope you will enjoy a couple of the the photos! All of them are from the little village Vittsjö, about 45 minutes from my home.
On the river
The leaves paint intricate patterns in the water
Vibrant is another name for this season – for some short days or weeks before it is all gone in rain, wind and mist. A very suitable challenge for yesterday’s fiery aspen along the road.
The Sahara desert is dried of course…but also the farmland straw towards autumn in Sweden.I love the colours of things dried.
Jen, at WordPress, asks us to show local life…and where my heart is.
In my garden with my dog…who always occupies the most comfortable places…
Walking in the forest every day with the best of friends.
Places and friends closest to me – between the ground and the heavens above. The header photo and the last picture.
Rocks often have an interesting structure – and so do these from Cathedral Beach in Spain.
Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Yellows
My first choice for Cee’s challenge is of course the autumn forest…but a car is OK as well.
