Ailsas Travel theme den här gången har rubriken ”Glass” – glas. Min första association blir förstås spegelsalen i Versailles. För mig står den i en klass för sig när det gäller glas och kristall. Många människor tycker ungefär som jag, så att få ett bra foto därifrån känns ganska omöjligt.
Ailsa’s travel theme this week is called ”Glass”, and I’ll go for my first association – the Hall of Mirrors, Versailles. Nowhere in the world have I seen such splendour of glass, crystal and mirrors. Unfortunately (?) many people from all over the world like to come and admire at the same time, so photos are really impossible here…

It is a marvelous place. I have a similar pic with me in it. 🙂
Yes, truly marvelous! In this pic is my daughter.
She is lovely. 🙂
🙂
Gorgeous!
Thank you – it’s almost impossible to leave it when you are there!
So much beautiful glass all in one place…..and so many people too!!
Yes! It’s almost impossible to stand still and just BE and take everything in. You are shoved away with the stream of people. I would have liked to dance there…in 18th century clothes and with a handsome man, swirling around in doubles and triples in the fantastic mirrors…
I love that I idea….and a little more elegant than the swirls you were sent into by the crowds!
Great interpretation of glass. But like you say, the world and its brother seems to be there at all times 🙂
Yes, it’s not enough to be there first thing in the morning either. Many years ago that was a chance to get some free space.
The secret tips are not secret anymore 🙂
Great shot .. remember those chandleries too – the thing is that I had to leave the building, because the all the dust caused me a massive caught attack – never happen before or after, it was extremely dusty inside that beautiful castle. But the parks had loads of beauty too and I was happy out there.
Yes – it’s great outdoors too. That garden with all the water and the orangerie!
