Two years ago Yoko Ono had an exhibition at Wanås Castle, close by where I live. Every year they have great outdoor exhibitions and they are often interactive. This time we could write down our hopes and wishes for the future and hang them in rows of young trees. It was a silent morning and the sun was just peeping through from the raindrops fallen.

That is such a Japanese Ceremony! Beautifully serene images Ann Christine.
Thank you, Madhu! My two youngsters are now in Kyoto and Tokyo for the cherry blossoms – I think they might have arrived the right week. I would have liked to see it too…
Oh this is my favorite entry for this challenge so far…just gorgeous, and I love they way you have captured it. Tieing our hopes and wishes for the future to trees is such a good idea 🙂
I’m glad you like it – I love the idea too.

How lovely. I can just imagine the peace and beauty of that morning. 🙂
Yes, it was really special. The scent in the air from the early morning rain too.
Framtiden …

Beautiful gallery – loved it.
Thank you! That morning was peaceful.
Perfect.
Thanks.
So peaceful…love the background!
Peaceful, yes. It was a dewy sunshine morning.
That’s a great idea. I would like to do that.
Yes, we wrote one each, too. It’s the young trees that are growing into future adults. That’s beautiful. Thank you for commenting!
