På vår ötripp till Hallands Väderö upptäckte en av eleverna denna lilla huggorm. Väl gömd i det skyddande gräset låg han och solade – säkert född detta år, för han var inte så stor.
A student found this viper, hidden in the grass, sunbathing, This is a very seldom seen snake, and the only poisonous one in Sweden. Being very rare it’s a protected species.

Actually, like you, I am more afraid of spiders. I don’t know why. I guess they just have too many wiggly legs?
Exactly! That’s why I hate cockroaches as well – the way they move, wriggly and irrationally…
