Happy Anniversary with WordPress.com!
Today I got this celebration badge sent to me because it is exactly 3 years since I registered on WordPress.com. I didn’t know it was today, but I knew it was about 3 years…
Three interesting, adventurous, exciting years that have brought me new, valuable knowledge and many friends all over the world! (There are things good with the Internet…) So much I have learned from you, so much fun and so many useful things! Hopefully we will have many more discussions, reflections, likes (and dislikes…) to share. And, bits and pieces of our lives will fit together in this great Big Puzzle. Intriguing!
To celebrate this – my way – I have created another blog, because…well, I will put the link under my photo blog faialflores,( created last year, right column) but for now…you can find my New blog Here. What it’s about? Be my guest, click and find out!

Thank you, but I’m not as creative as you though! You do magic with your hands too. That’s another feeling – to hold it and touch it. I wish for so many things to do…maybe some day I will find the possibility to try – in the meantime I will enjoy pictures of your work!
True, but with the creating your blog is also a different way of art! Even taking photos is an art on its own.
Yes, I believe most ways of art are wonderful. And I believe everybody must use some kind of art to express themselves.

Yes! It’s astonishing how it all works so well and in such a positive fashion, most of the time.
I’m glad it does. One blogger I follow lost all her material though, through some sort of hacking. She had to start all over again using a very difficult system with e-mails. I felt very sorry for her. So much beautiful work and so many hours lost – and all her contacts! That’s a fright. I hope this will never happen to any of us.
I download my blog posts, every few posts, on to a memory stick, so I am hoping I will be okay, but one can never be one hundred percent sure.
Congratulations Leya … three years of beautiful posts! My anniversary is coming in February … three years like you … it has been such fun, such an education and a heart-opening experience 🙂 I just received a book in the mail today, a book I made of the first five months of blog posts. It looks amazing, words and photos, made by blurb, who use a process called ‘slurping’ to draw the blog material into the book … then of course I spent many hours editing it, but it was all very worthwhile … you might think about doing something similar.
This is very exciting to know. I have been puzzling for ages about how I could print some of my blog!
Let’s try! That would be a great present too – at least to oneself..

just type ‘blurb’ and the site will come up, my son in Paris uses them so I thought I would try … and now I must confess it is nearly 4 years for me … one more than I thought! I let the program arrange the book for me, but then it took hours (days) of editing to get it right so next time I will choose to arrange it manually … it looks so good I will do another one 🙂
