Sylvain Landry and SL week: The greatest monumental building I know – The Pothala Palace in Tibet. Tibet has been on top of my dreams since I was a little child. 2009 it came true. The journey of my life.

Loving that photo in Tibet. Cool.
😀 Thank you – The Pothala Palace is a masterpiece.
wow!
😀
What an amazing structure – it really is stunning. Your world travels are wonderful to see through your photographs.
Thank you, Mary! This is really one of the greatest moments in my travelling life. And I didn’t have a ”real” camera…only a small pocket Canon. I’m glad you enjoy my travel photos – maybe comparable to how much I enjoy your paintings!
You are a special blogging friend, thank you so much. Have a wonderful week ahead.
You too, Mary. We have exchanged thoughts for some time now. I appreciate it very much.
Stunning. You are so lucky to be able to see it for real instead of just photos! 🙂
I was, yes. I still have difficulties in understanding that I really was THERE.
This is a place I have always wanted to visit, but will have to satisfy myself with your gorgeous photo. That is the closest I will ever get. Thanks for posting it.
Maybe it’s not too late to go! But it was a tough trip, and the air is very thin so you must be prepared for headaches in the beginning. Everything is worth it, though.
Wow, Ann-Christine, I am super envious!
Well, I have difficulties in believing I was really there…
Well, you clearly were!
I’ll have to remind myself of that. Thank you for telling me!
😉

Very impressive site! It’s fun to read about how different all our dreams were …
Yes…it is.
An amazing sight even though I have only seen it in photos!
And in reality – it’s rather unreal. Not easily taken in. When I see the photos I can’t believe I was really there.
Yes, I have that feeling about a lot of places now.
Do you reflect on why? I often do. A variety of reasons come to mind, but maybe it’s only me getting older.
Perhaps age. I don’t know. I know I feel and see things differently now than when I was a young traveller.
So it is. I guess there is both positive and negative sides to it – as usual. But I miss that special tingling in my body before a new journey.
Wow wonderfull i think you gonna Win this week 19….
Very Nice shot
