An old, worn down, dilapidated house…with some patches here and there. A mix of old and new. Warm, yellow light seeping through in some windows, only darkness in others.
Look closely and you will find a heart on the window sill, neatly camouflaged.
It is me.

Thank you so much! I had a silent, late evening walk in this area of old Riga. The nonrestored parts are very beautiful. The old houses – and the golden lights you wrote about. Not in every window, so you knew which ones were empty. Many cats here, and lucky me – one on the window sill, scouting. Like me.

Hej! Underbar husbild med det läckra gula ljuset. Med lite redigering skulle bilden bli en suverän bild till ”spöklikt” med det fina fönsterljuset. Närbilden också fin :). Fick förresten besök från Dorothy efter ditt prisinlögg! (Min ekorre). Jätteroligt!
Dorothy! Vilket härligt namn – som i ”Trollkarlen från Oz” . Och jag älskade kvarteren där vi bodde i Riga. De var lite ruffiga, men åh, alla katter och ljusen i fönstren, lagat och lappat, snyggt klädda människor trots utifrån sett nedgånget. Vi såg inga tiggare heller.
