Oh, my friend Alyson and I lived on Skyr when we were in Iceland (in part because everything else was quite expensive). On a layover there a few years ago, I made a beeline for the snack shop refrigerator. ❤ Delicious!

Yes, somewhat more thick – a lovely touch on your tongue. In Sweden we used to have more of this feeling with our youghurt, some ten years ago, but not any longer…In certain Swedish shops you can buy Skyr. I always do when I find it.

I will try to remember this once I get to travel to Iceland or Sweden. So far when I though thick, I had a Greek kind of yoghurt in mind.
The Greek youghurt sold in Sweden is rather thick, but the Icelandic is still thicker – you can almost ”chew” at it. But very smooth…
