I love looking at pictures of snow and snow-capped cottages in winter but if I had to live in it for long I’d live permanently inside I think. But if I lived in Switzerland or Austria it would be different as every holiday I’ve spent there in winter has been wonderful, with warm sunshine and cloudless skies. My winters/spring in Sweden were with snow but it was invariably cold although we did go out walking. Love these pictures of yours, they would make lovely postcards.
Well Steve, I love this little cottage, walk past it almost every day. Unfortunately abandoned. And this week has started off with rain…so the snow will soon be gone – but grateful for some glorious days!
I know, Brian…I guess it’s the way we are brought up too. I could not live in the heat where you live. But when I have been traveling for some weeks in hot countries, my body ajusts to it. For a while.

Thank you, Mari. In the north of Sweden it is much colder than in the Swiss mountains…
So beautiful!
Glad you liked it, Aletta! Thank you!
Wow. They are going to get snow in the east of Ireland tonight but none for us here in the west
Oh…
Oh, brilliant! Where?
On the fringe of the forest you walked in!
Ah, good!
That looks magical!
I cannot but agree! This little abandoned cottage is lovely – walk past it almost every day.
A very lovely scene, Ann-Christine! Wish our neighborhood looked like that. We’ve had little snow this year. Is that your home?

You know I don’t like it, but you make it look so pretty 🙂 🙂
;-D ♥
I love these winter season impresssions.
Glad to share – this week all snow will rain away again…but we had some fine days!
Very pretty and postcard perfect but I couldn’t live in snow like that 🙂

Adjustment would take time 🙂
🙂
Post-card perfect!

Is this your place? So lovely in the snow.
I wish…The cottage is hidden where I walk in the forest every day. Unfortunately it is abandoned.
Oh, that’s sad. It looks so pretty.
Especially in the snow.
Quite.
Yes, I’d like to be there. I know that sounds weird, but I would, at least for a bit. 🙂 Beautiful shot.

Happy to share, Janet. I often walk there – it is an abandoned cottage.
Beautiful contrast in colors. 😊
Red and white – I like it too! Thank you.
Just amazing!
Thank you – a lovely cottage, unfortunately abandoned.
. . . the sheltering trees of comfort and safety . . .

your picture’s are beautiful and amazing
I am happy to hear you like them! Thank you!
Oh, so so cozy!!
Thank you – it looks like it, but it is an abandoned house really. I bet it was cosy once!
But I adore abandoned houses!
So do I!
