The couple is graduating students I had at school. This was 2016 I think. And that bench – yes, beautiful…now all gone. The mansion sold and no gardens kept.
Such a lovely collection. What I’d really like though is to sit on that seat in your last photo and breathe in the scent of all those roses and lavender!
Oh, no! That is terrible! Is the mansion being redeveloped then?
I think the old lady who lived there passed away and the house was left to the town. They decided not to keep the gardens going, but use the big house as a conference place. You can see it deteriorating if you look at the grounds. So sad. We were there last summer and were not allowed to pass the gates.
Wow – what a collection! The Lewisia made me smile. A sensational picture too.
Thank you, I love Lewisia, but it seems this winter killed it…
Oh dear. Worth trying again, though!
I will!
Fabulous! Especially the tulip fields. Would love to see them again 🙂
Fabulous they are – wonder when we will be able to go there next?
Not this year 😦
No…
Wow, Leya. I’ve always loved pink, but these pictures are in the pink! Wow!
Haha – glad you liked them!
The dress especially is too cute! 🙂
That is just so beautiful, Ann-Christine.
♥ And then…pink is not my colour – but I love looking at it!
I can relate. 🙂
Beautiful
Who’s the handsome couple? The tulips are a bit too regimented for my tastes but that bench? I could sit there amongst those flowers for a long time.

I agree

Pink is not really ‘my’ colour . . . but when I arrived at the tulip fields in Keukenhof tI so selfishly could but wish I too was there . . .

Perfectly harmonious pinks 🙂 🙂

A great pink gallery
Thank you – I don’t have much pink in my own garden though. Only the tiny roses.
Awesome pinks! I have a thing for orchids and I just love this one!
In flower right now too!

That last photo really is the last one for that garden – sorry to say. The big mansion is sold and the garden is gone.

Lovely photos! The tulips are just amazing!
Keukenhof! A must if you live in Europe at least!
I wish I could get there! South Africa is a bit far😊
It is – but maybe someday…!
Maybe…
Great choices, Ann-Christine! Beautiful post.
Thank you!
