This year the sun was shining and we spent a fine day together. Biking to a local greenhouse with an amazing bloom of cacti and geraniums. And millions of tadpoles – and a leech. I do love tadpoles, we always let some grow up in a big bowl, and then let them out when all four legs had arrived. A nature’s wonder. Leeches though…naaah. Not one of my favourites…

It was lovely you got to spend a nice sunny Mother’s Day, Ann-Christine. Nothing like a leisurely day out and taking in the beautiful sights and nature around you. Stunning photos of the blooms in the greenhouse. Hope it is warm and great weather over there for you this time of the year. Enjoy your summer 🙂
Hi Mabel, thank you for commenting! And yes, we have fantastic weather for the moment. Almost too hot for me – but nothing for an Australian. 27 degrees C.
You are welcome, Ann-Christine. 27’C sound amazing. At the moment where I am we are below 10’C…happy to take your weather now anytime 😀 Enjoy your warm weather ❤
Oh – 10C? Well, I would do a lot for you, Mabel, but after our cold winter…I will not change with you!
That’s okay Ann-Christine. Enjoy your summer and I look forward to experiencing it through your photos 🌞😗
Crazy Tadpoles…we lived on a lake for a few glorious years. I loved those guys, and the frogs as they were coming out of stasis in the spring.
Ah – you love them too! It is a wonder to see them develop into full grown frogs!
Thank you kindly.
Springtime! What could be better than a garden on a sunny day!
Lovely flowers – but does anyone like leeches? I doubt it!
I doubt it too…but in olden days there were useful areas for them.
Love these images.
Thank you – silent, calm and lovely day!
Cheeky I know ! I did not think Swedish weather ever blessed you with totally cloudless days – how absolutely lovely !! But do not talk about leeches = a city girl I was also ‘attacked’ by some during a university nature camp – a lifetime later I still have some welty scars on my hip . . . had no idea they could make you ill as well . . .
Well, well – we have lots of sunny days generally, but this winter and last autumn was a disaster in darkness. Summer has more blue skies than England!
It looks like it was a beautiful day! Being outdoors on a beautiful day, who could ask for anything better?!
Yes! No, who could ask for more?
Who likes leeches? I am reminded of my son returning from school camp in the wilderness as a senior student, legs dripping in blood from leeches. The looks on the new junior students he told me was priceless. I think they started to dread school camp!
Ha, well, I think you are right about that…
Leeches are hard to love!
Maybe other leeches only…can
Haha – yes. A creature only its mothers could love! Lol
Thank you for the beautiful colors. 🙂
GGlad you like them, Frank!
