DearHeart – do you know what the two trees in the front of the photo are ? – they look like birches – my favourite Estonian tree – but the latter are usually straight ??O am so at peace with serenity . . . as my roof at the moment is almost coming off in an early ‘spring’ gale so wish I was there . . . !

Hope the gale is over! Well, birches up north and close to water are often twisted by the wind. I love that too.
