Your reply prompted me to look for information about the current conditions in Denmark, and I found this ”Denmark declared being almost entirely affected by water scarcity. Abstraction exceeds sustainable recharge by up to 300% around Copenhagen and other large towns and that irrigation is dominant in Western Jutland and exceeds sustainable recharge by up to 70%.” My impression is that hardly anyone in the United States, including me, has heard about that.
We have an inexhaustible supply of sea water, so let’s hope scientists figure out how to improve desalination technology.
Thank you for the information! I was referring to the fact that they have the biggest moving sand dune in Europe too.
Love the patterns!

This is the first picture I’ve seen of that little-known part of Sweden.
(Okay, I know it’s not Sweden.)
;-D Could almost have been Denmark…

Stunning windswept formations.
I am sure you recognise the beauty too!
Actually the Thar desert I rode across was more a stony desert, did not have those beautiful sand dunes.
Many deserts are stone deserts too, yes. Beautiful in a different way!
Amazing….!

Mike – I used to. This was 2016, nowadays there’s practically nothing. But nature itself is enough.
