I like the both, but the first one has a special feel to it. I like the way the rocks/boulders fill the foreground and the trees the rest.

Me too. It is the ice cap of old that brought these boulders here.
A beautiful image of an almost threatening big trees. Got to love the intricate patterns of branches and trunks. Could have been take for a fairy tale. 🙂
