Here are some layers from my favorite world of mountains, rocks and stones. In the header – the Pancakes of New Zealand, South Island.
Ireland, Giants’ Causeway.
The Hellnar cave.
And last, Iceland, south west part, Snæfellsnes peninsula – the cave at Hellnar. Look closely, and you will find a mink looking for young gulls nesting, or some eggs for dinner.

Layers of rock are some of the best miracles of nature. Such history there! The patterns and shadows are so unique. Beautiful photos.

Of course…I had to! Minks are beautiful animals – and rather smart. But the birds do not agree…
Giant’s Causeway is such a remarkable landscape. And I much prefer to see a mink hunting rather than wrapped around somebody. 🙂

I love the natural layers in these photos. My favorite is the Giant’s Causeway.
Mine as well – there is something very harmonious about it – and golden.
Some amazing geological formations there, Ann-Christine. I have a soft spot for the Giants’ Causeway.
