This week, Ritva wants us to reveal the often-hidden, magical world, of the details we never take the time to notice anymore. I knew I didn’t have that many small details – but some bigger ones…

A surprising detail on a church in Spain…
More of Spain – Toledo if I remember it right! He really frightened me…

I did not see the cat at first, but loved it as it blended in perfectly among the stones in the wall.
What station is this in London? Of course it had to be London! Love British humour.

Sitting under a parasol somewhere in the world – this little visitor decided to pause on top. I could follow him jumping around – a bird trampoline!
New Zealand street – of course! They are very aware of environmental issues, trying their best to convey important messages to us all.

Turn Right…in Lodz.
Loved this gate – somewhere in the Mediterranian. The vine was a perfect match.

An old hand painted gem seen in Switzerland.
Somewhere in Madeira on a seaside road.

Thank you for this great challenge, Ritva! Last week, Sofia took us around the world on a journey to ancient sites, as she explored the details of architectural marvels and let us all join in the fun.
Next week is Tina’s turn to host, please go and visit her lovely blog Saturday 1st November. Hope you will join us again. Until then, keep smiling and stay positive.
Important; link your post to Ritva’s original post and Remember to tag Lens-Artists so we can all easily find you.

a brilliantly observed set of Street details, Ann Christine! love that first one with the red wheelbarrow and the Swiss one especially
Thank you, Sue!
My pleasure!
I love the cat picture — so much to look at, deconstruct and put back together. Wouldn’t that make a great jigsaw puzzle?
Thank you! Yes, I agree!
Great gallery, Ann-Christine. I especially loved the bird. It must have been fun to watch it.
Haha, thanks – it was fun. I could imagine the feeling!
These are all wonderful Ann-Christine and seeing Baker Street Station again brings back many happy memories ❤️ xxx
♥
Ann-Christine, I love all of these! My favorites are the cat in the wall and the wall with the fire extinguisher in London.
Thank you, Beth! I love it when there is something special in the train stations.
Has to be Baker Street station! Well done you for noticing these little details.
Thank you, Jude – I love so many traits in the English character!
Why am I not surprised that I cannot choose a favorite from this wonderful set Ann-Christine?! Your eye for detail is perfect! Loved them all.
Thank you so much, Tina!
These are great Ann Christine! I really love the cat photo and the wheelbarrow on the church (why on earth???!) The station is Baker Street, with pictures of Sherlock Holmes 🙂 Many of our Tube stations have tiles designed to match the location, like filmstrips at Leicester Square 🙂
Thanks, Sarah – and yes, I love that trait of yours! The English!
Great finds, the shutter is wonderful and I love the cats, Ann-Christine, took me a while to find them 🙂
Thank you, and you found both!
We like what you’ve noticed, dear Ann-Christine. We like the London Sherlock Holmes station best (that must be Baker’s Street) and the Swiss picture.
Thanks
The Fab Four of Cley
🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
Thank you !
Lodz wins of course, but I really like the shuttered window too. How’s Milo these days? Happy again? xx
Thanks, Jo – and for asking about Milo. Two days ago he got rid of all the extras…and is now free and happy!
Good to know xx
Great spots!
Fabulously well observed. What fun!
Thank you, Margaret! I enjoyed this one.
These are excellent. I’d like to think I might have spotted some of these as it’s just the sort of thing I’d love to photograph. I really like the wheel barrow. Most people would wander by and never see that. I have a theory that because we’re out there with our cameras so often we train ourselves to look out for these details – Just what the challenge asked for 🙂
And I think you are on the right track there…we are always training our perception!
I like the artistic fish on the storm grate. Cool photos.
Thanks, Rebecca!
I didn’t notice the wheelbarrow straight away in the first photo 😂 I like the hidden cat, London station, the birds shadow, the drain fish and the Swiss shutter best
Thanks, Brian! I do love that wheel barrow…could not believe my eyes at first!
These are wonderful Ann-Christine, I love that first one, wasn’t expecting that at all.
♥
The images are wonderful, AC.
Each one captures something special—small moments that feel real and full of life. It’s a lovely way to see the world.
The gate, my favourite.
Philo
Thank you! Happy you liked the gate too!
Welcome, AC.
Nice details
Thank you!

Fun collection. I especially like the bird shadow, lizard, and fish.
