Your shots of the green door are fantastic!–Patti
I’m glad you like it! Hopefully it will last some more years, the door. it’s lovely.
Do you remember as a child being told that the fireweed burns brightly until summer is over. It does look like it is fraying.
Yes – and you really know that summer is over now here.
I just found you, and backtracked a bit while exploring your page. It was fun. See you again soon.
OK, thank you! I’ll see you too!

Thank you!
Vakker, gammel patina. Enda bedre hvis de blir tatt vare på.
Precis.
*Gorgeous* door!!! 🙂

Thank you!
Frayed paint, perfect, yet beautiful!
Strange, isn’t it…why we think this is beautiful.
Beautiful. The colours all work so well together.
I love those colours too. That beautiful green I cannot wear on clothes though – unfortunately.
😦
Love that frayed paint ! Almost would hate to scrape and paint it!
Well, they will not do that…the house is abandoned…
That is good then you should take it home and put it in your garden 🙂
Good idea! When I was a child this was a dairy – I remember it well. I have always dreamed of starting a dairy on my own…I think I just might do that!
You definitely should, Put a wrought Iron planter hanger on it or some candles ! Better grab it Ann, I might be coming for it 🙂
You’re welcome…nothing would give me more pleasure right now than giving ithis old dairy to you if you came over for a visit…! Have a great weekend!
Oh I sooooooo wish I could ! ♥
You are always full of good ideas – aren’t you!
Yes when it comes to staging garden decor 🙂 ~
Rustic (frayed) doors make such interesting photos
they do…and the colours are often interesting and manifold.
I do like old doors! well doors in general!
Me too!
