Beautiful! I long to explore my Irish heritage. My mother’s parents were born and raised near Dublin. Some day I will make a pilgrimage. Thanks for posting these. 😊
I’d love to visit Ireland again, but nothing on the horizon, so thanks for letting me tag along on your trip. My favorite is your beautiful header photo. Hmm, wonder why I feel like having a Guinness?? 🙂
Guinness was my entry level beer to dark beers, which I really like. No hoppy light ales for me! 🙂
I am glad you enjoyed your visit to Ireland. Today we had wonderful blue skies for a change. Your lovely ‘broom’ photo is in fact ‘gorse’, similar to broom but with thorns. Local people will also call it whins or whin bushes or furze.
Det regnar lite varje dag där, säger man, men vi hade bara regn två dagar och vi hade till och med helklart och sol ett par dagar. Mycket ovanligt enligt lokalbefolkningen.

How great to have Irish relatives- then you have a lovely trip to enjoy!
My goal is to go to Ireland someday. The countryside is just beautiful.
You must really go! Our trip to the emerald island was unforgettable. I want to go again. For the west coast this time.
I hear it’s beautiful and I’m sure post cards and pictures don’t do it justice.
You will love it.
some of my ancestors are from Ireland so I’ve always wanted to go
You should – find your history!
I might do that
Beautiful pics!
Thank you!
A country I would love to visit and your photos make me want to go
Ireland is fantastic – so green and so friendly. And lovely food and gorgeous beer and whiskey…
and I love their accent…
So do I! And the Scots accents as well.
So serene and lovely.
Thank you – a beautiful country.

In fact I learned to appreciate Guinness on this trip. Never liked it before!

Love Ireland – and thank you for the information!
Kan tänka mig att det är ett väldigt vackert grönt land. Kommer aldrig resa dit så jag tittar lite extra på dina fina bilder.

Gorgeous. I would love to visit one day.
And I would love to return.
Maybe some day…
