We set out in the early morning to enjoy the stillness and the bird song – I thought I might get some photos of the two boys together too…Totti hates the camera, but Milo tries to be
…complaisant. Not always succeeding, but, he helped checking out the bird houses …
…even if they were still empty, no guests arrived yet. A couple of weeks more is needed.
When spring arrives, they both need hair cuts often – but still get warm and thirsty.

Some advice from me – never turn your back on your motif…and never try to shoot without warning! Totti and Milo knocked me down and showed their best, wet and friendly approach…A very foggy lens emerged from this attack.
Here they are finally posing, after some hours of digging and running in muddy waters.
Well, which shot did you like best? My first favorite was the one of Milo alone – in the header. But after some hours…maybe the last one. After all, they are my sweeties!

I love that last photo with their smiley faces.
😊
Looks like a wonderful Adventure for you and your pups! Dogs sure are the best company on a hike, and always 🙂
Thank you very much for commenting – and you are so right about dogs!
Gorgeous pooches! 🙂
😀
Ohh, I don’t like to compare shots as gorgeous as these, all are the winners. But when I saw the creek and the dogs in it my heart skipped a beat because I remembered our first dog who had the insulation layer required to enter any water no matter how cold. (Bestia doesn’t have it and usually runs away from the cold sea.) And the last one as well, such happy creatures, you got to love them! ❤
Yes – I have got to love them! Love the thought of an insulation layer…but it means that my dogs suffer during the warmer season.
Oh! I thought that this layer also keeps them cool.
Maybe – but last summer nearly killed them…it was extremely hot.
Uhh, yes, you had fires. Birds were dropping. I remember.
😦
All worth the effort when you finally got a photo of them. My favourite is of them in the little creek with Totti (I believe) with the head deep into the water – or so it looks like.
Haha, yes, he is in the water pipe under the little bridge. Efforts are often not rewarded with those guys…
The last one — it is at the dogs’ level and it is clear they are the subject. Nice shots 🙂
Thank you – and yes, their level it is for sure.
Happy dogs! Love them all.
♥♥
I love the second one Dog on a Rock 🙂
😀
First for dignity, last for fun!
Your analysis and conclusion is absolutely correct!
That last ”muddy dogs” photo is amazing. They look so pleased with themselves.
I believe they are! They had a great time this fine spring morning!
That is awesome. My male dog loves to get muddy…my girl dog will often not even walk on the wet grass.
Well…Milo is a dirty one and Totti turns in the door if it is raining. Personalities all of them!
Yes indeed!
they are adorable!
Haha – thanks! But some days for sale – cheap!
Keep trying Ann-Christine and keep training them to leave humans standing! 😉 The last image is my favourite, they look as if they’d had a great time! 😁💖🐕 xxx
You are so right! They really had a great day!
