I’m afraid we might be seeing a lot of that first one in Southern California this weekend and upcoming week. ☹️. Both lovely photos however.

It was good for awhile but the tournament has been suspended for now due to severe weather. We’ll see when it resumes.

And just this morning I was cleaning Sahara sand off my windows. Not nearly so picturesque!
Well….are the skies yellow or red? Some years ago we had Sahara sand up here too. The sun was in a haze of yellow/orange. Very special light for a couple of days.
They had a yellow tinge, not at all natural. Back to normal now.
Good. It was almost frightening I thought when we had it.
We actually had snow overnight. Such cool photo Ann-Christne 😀 😀

Ah, thank you for the info, Eha! In my book it says acacia, but we call it mimosa, yes.
Yes, those who know a bit of botany here also may say ‘acacia’ but normally we just talk of wattle!

I’ve never seen it as a scent
I love the scent, it fills the whole glass house. When I open the door it envelops me. Maybe it is not that intense outdoors!
